我們是來自世界各地不同種族、宗教、文化和社會經濟背景的一群人。我們不
分男女,齊聚一堂,表達我們對經由代孕契約安排懷孕而受到剝削的婦女和孩
子的關切。

我們肯定許多人想成為父母的深切渴望。然而,與大多數慾望一樣,這樣的渴
望必須有所限制。人權即是衡量這些限制的重要指標。我們認為,應該停止代
孕,因為代孕侵犯了婦女和兒童人權。

代孕往往仰賴對貧窮婦女的剝削。在一般情況之下,窮人出售,富人購買。這
些不公平的交易導致婦女在不知情下同意,被迫接受廉價、脅迫、品質不佳的
醫療,也因此造成對代孕婦女短期和長期的嚴重健康風險。

代孕的醫療過程為代理孕母、捐卵的年輕婦女以及經由人工生殖輔助技術出生
的孩子帶來風險。婦女面臨的風險,包括卵巢過激症(OHSS)、卵巢扭轉、
卵巢囊腫、慢性骨盆疼痛、提早停經、不孕、生殖器官癌、血栓、腎臟疾病、
中風,在某些情況甚至導致死亡。使用非自己卵子懷孕的婦女(妊娠代孕),也
讓罹患子癎前症和高血壓的風險較高。

經由代孕、透過人工生殖輔助技術所生的孩子,也面臨著已知的健康風險,包
括:早產、死產、低出生體重(體重過輕)、胎兒異常和高血壓等。母子間的自
然連結是醫學專家一貫鼓勵和促進的,但代孕卻是故意切斷這種母子間的自然
連結。無可否認,母子之間的生物聯繫是親密的,當被切斷時,雙方都會受到
永久的影響。一旦代孕合法化,這種潛在的傷害同時也被制度化了。
我們認為,商業代孕等同於買賣孩子。即使是非商業性(「無償代孕」或「利

他代孕」),也使得婦女和孩子面臨風險,都應該被禁止。
無論異性戀、同性戀還是單身者,孩子都不是他們的「權利」。

我們齊聚一堂,要求世界各國政府和國際社會領導人共同努力,終止這項做法
,立即停止代孕。
